Annual employee engagement survey and action planning
The Project
The UK division of a foreign-owned technology company has worked with QCG over four years to develop and implement an employee survey designed to engage with and involve employees and get to the heart of the things in the business that can be improved.
Our Role
In the first year we developed an on-line survey based on a set of key themes. Each question is measured on two dimensions, how important the item is to the employee and how well the employee thinks the company is performing in relation to it. This provides a sophisticated analytical platform for assessing what the company is doing well and where it can improve or make changes. Each year the survey is refined and re-run to allow for a year-on-year comparison. Following each survey the results are shared with managers and employees and a detailed action plan is worked up and implemented.
Outcome
The outcomes of the 2010 survey are being worked on and we have been asked to deliver the survey in other European territories.
