Rob has over 15 years of technical IT experience. He has worked with all major mid-range and large computing platforms, including UNIX, HP, Digital and IBM, focusing on internetworking and integration with PCs.
During the run up to the year 2000, Rob developed his fervent belief that technology should be the slave of business - not the other way around. He therefore focuses on designing and delivering business-led technology solutions that leverage his wide ranging knowledge and understanding.
Rob has extensive experience of creating on-line feedback questionnaires for a variety of clients, including employee satisfaction surveys and 360° feedback tools. He also uses his broad ranging technical knowledge to provide outsourced IT Manager facilities for a number of small firms, whilst also delivering consultancy support and training on Internet security – his specialist area.
Aside from his external roles, Rob is also the Operations Manager for QCG. This involves looking after both the IT direction of the group, but also the financial and logistical challenges that present themselves to a fast-growing, forward thinking organisation. |
