Mike is a specialist reward consultant with 14 years experience in the field. He leads QCG’s reward practice.
Formerly with Towers Perrin, Mike has extensive experience of working with clients to develop business-led reward arrangements – from reward strategy definition, through detailed design, costing and implementation. Mike also informs and attends Remuneration Committees on executive pay for a number of bodies.
Mike passionately believes in the importance of working with key managers from across the business to balance immediate business needs and technical solutions with the wider cultural and people management dimensions of reward. In summary, Mike views the reward discipline as a marriage of art and science – the art of informed consensus-building supported by rigorous analytics and data.
