Robert joined QCG in January 2009 but has worked with us as an Associate since 2006. His recent reward assignments have included projects for English Heritage, Ministry of Justice, Transport for London and London Underground, including a large post merger integration project in which his role was to support the reward management changes and work with the internal team through implementation.
Robert also plays a key role in helping to manage QCG's Project Management, Engineering & Technical Club – or ‘PET Club’ for short – a Steering Group of Senior Reward and HR Managers in the rail and civil infrastructure sectors, set up and facilitated by QCG.
Prior to consulting for QCG, Robert had a wide and varied HR career in and around the public sector over a number of years, including stints in central government, healthcare regulation, and education. This included project managing the introduction of new pay and grading arrangements (including supporting systems such as performance management) in a central government agency and a major regulatory body. He is also experienced in carrying out paybill analyses and complex financial modelling of pay system scenarios over a number of years.
Robert holds a BA(Hons) in Philosophy from the University of Bristol, an MA in the Philosophy and Psychology of Language from the University of London, and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD. |
